Oh. Em. Gee. (It’s Over.)

14 Apr

I cannot believe that I’m officially done with this challenge!  I’m going to be sad to see this tattered little list leave my purse, where it has been sitting for 366 days, but I’m proud that I was able to complete all 100 foods in a single year.  I ate some disgusting foods, some illegal foods, some hideously expensive foods, some foods that made me want to jump for joy…I ate foods in England, Scotland, Canada, the Czech Republic, and all around the USA.  I’m at least a couple pounds heavier and a couple thousand dollars poorer, but I did it.  I’m done. Swap-o-Rama!

12 Mar

Yeah…so I had some stock photo credits that were about to expire and when I saw this absolutely horrifying photo, I couldn’t resist.  Purchase made!  Anyways, I’m not here to talk about food today, nor am I here to talk about putting lunatics in boxes.  I’m here to talk about a swapportunity that has recently arisen!  My good friend Jenn from Quirky Pickings is hosting a fun little swap and I’d love if you guys could join in.  It’s pretty casual and there aren’t many rules, but she wants us to swap music, movies, and books (maybe your favorite of each, perhaps? or some obscure ones that you think everyone should own?)  If you’d like to join, just write a blog post about the swap, head over to Jenn’s blog, and link up!  I hope you’ll participate with me 🙂

Number 88: Flowers

15 Feb

So I told you that Dan was sick with a stomach bug yesterday, but what I didn’t tell you is that he still pulled through with the roses!  Good guy.  And instead of thinking “oh, how beautiful!” or “what a wonderful boyfriend I have,” I was thinking “can I eat these?”  And it turns out that yes, you can eat them!  So eat them I did.

It’s the Holiday Season!

23 Dec

Hey, folks!  I just wanted to write a quick note wishing you a Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hannukkah!  I am super thankful for everyone who visits my blog and suffers through my mediocre descriptions of the things I eat 🙂  You are all wonderful and I hope you are having a fantastic holiday season full of fun, friends, family, and food!

Peace out,
Kathryn

Back to Blogging

30 Nov

Hello to all my bloggy buddies that I have neglected over the last three weeks or so!  I’m sorry that I have been absent for such a long time, but I got all wrapped up in my NaNoWriMo novel.  But it’s over now, and I did it!  I wrote 50,041 words in 30 days and I couldn’t be more proud of myself.

Now that NaNoWriMo is over with, I have a lot of blogging (and commenting!) to catch up on.  Many foods remain, and I have 4 months to complete them all.  Stay tuned for some dulce de leche deliciousness, a tasty gift from Mr. Onion, and much, much more!   Let’s do this thang!
